Hey everyone, thank you for your interest in my NetHack project. Technichally development on this projected started on 2026-07-17, but I just now got around to devloping the dev log, so this is my first update.

The page has gotten a little bit of a facelift since it was first published, so depending on when you last visted the page, it may look a bit different.

Besides the facelift I have spent time working on the game controls. NomadNetwork does not forward keypresses to the browser in any way, so my solution was to create an on-screen keyboard where each key is a link that sends key data to the backend script.

You can play around with the on-screen keyboard by visiting the node and clicking on the "Keyboard Test" link in the upper navigation bar. Give it a try!
